NHMRC Survey coming - Investigating Clinician Researcher Career Pathways Project

The NHMRC have invited Monash to participate in stage 2 of the Investigating Clinician Researcher Career Pathways Project, a survey of Australian clinician researchers.

This notice is to inform you that we have agreed to participate by providing NHMRC with a list of our researcher's email details. You may be then contacted by NHMRC's project partners ORIMA Research inviting you to participate in the survey.

If you would like to opt-out of the survey and do NOT want us to provide your email details to the NHMRC for this survey, please let Svetozar Kovacevic know by 23 November.

Background

The project was initiated by the NHMRC's Health Translation Advisory Committee to investigate the effectiveness of tools and mechanisms to support clinician researchers and the challenges faced by them.

All clinician researchers are encouraged to take part in this project to help NHMRC better understand the factors that affect clinician researchers and their career patterns.

The project has five stages:
1) Intelligence gathering (completed July 2018)
2) Survey of researchers (coming soon)
3) Phone interviews
4) Data collection
5) Literature review

Suggested Participants

Participants must be eligible to undertake clinical practice in Australia through registration with the Australian Health practitioner Regulation Agency, the National Alliance of Self Regulating Health professionals, or equivalent.
