SCS end of year drinks and nibbles, 20 December

SCS staff are invited to our End of Year Drinks and Nibbles 10am - 12pm tomorrow (Thurs 20th) in the Surgery Seminar Room, level 5, Block E to celebrate the achievements of all staff and students this year.

Drinks and nibbles will be provided by the SCS Social Club.

After seven years in SCS, we farewell Ciara Boyd who has commenced a new role at the University as Space Planning & Development Manager, Buildings and Properties Division.

We are sad to announce that Katherine Marks is leaving SCS after almost five years as SCS Communications Manager.

The Program aims to support research that addresses questions that focus on the comparative effectiveness of health services and areas of health system practice with low or insubstantial evidence.

Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) Million Minds Mission - APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN

The Million Minds Mission grant opportunity aims to support multidisciplinary teams of researchers to undertake collaborative, intervention-focused research that is transformative, scalable and demonstrates the greatest impact on health outcomes and translation into policy and/or practice. The grant opportunity will provide up to $25 million over five years to support three initial priority areas for research:

Changes to ROPEs in ARC Discovery Projects


The ARC recently announced a big change in the way research outputs will be entered in ARC Discovery Project 2020 applications.  Instead of uploading PDFs with lists of outputs, all research outputs will now be auto-populated from data imported into each researcher's RMS profile.  This change is mandatory and applies to both Chief Investigators and Partner Investigators.  

2019 Women in Leadership Awards

MHTP Technology Platforms are an integral component of the MHTP research strategy, providing cutting edge capabilities and expertise to support research within the Precinct. Each Platform recently underwent a review to ensure alignment with current research resulting in several rationalisation strategies and actions have now been endorsed by executive management.

MMC/MCH Site Alert UPDATE: Fregon Reserve Car Park Closure RESCHEDULED


 Monash Council have RESCHEDULED the planned temporary closure of the Fregon Reserve Car Park.   The Fregon Reserve public car park will remain open this week (Dec 17-21).
