R U OK? Day Events

R U OK? Day is on Thursday, 10 September this year's message is: There's more to say after R U OK?

You don’t have to be an expert to keep the conversation going when someone says they’re not OK. A conversation could change a life and by knowing what to say you can help someone feel supported and access appropriate help long before they’re in crisis Learn what to say next in this Free Conversation Guide.  Put together your own digital event with colleagues and register HERE to take part.

Mindful Communications and Relationships

We are social creatures and our ability to relate to others is often tested by many things including work pressure, stress, haste, multitasking and, in the current situation, social distancing. This practical session will explore how mindfulness can help us in our relationships with others, in communication and in the giving and receiving of feedback.  The event will be on September 15th at 12:00pm, please register HERE as places are limited.

Any questions on the above events please email wellbeing@monash.edu
