Call to update Honours and Graduate Research projects for 2020

Dear research supervisors,

It is that time of year when we ask you to update your projects in Supervisor Connect, ahead of our BMedSc(Hons) and Hons / PhD recruitment season which starts in May 2019.    Supervisor Connect is our primary Higher Degree by Research (HDR) recruitment tool.  We will be producing a project booklet this year

Trainee opportunities at the 2019 World Congress on Developmental Origins of Health and Disease in Melbourne

The 11th World Congress on the Developmental Origins of Health and Disease is being held in Melbourne from October 20-23. This will be a great opportunity to present your work and network with DOHaD researchers from around the world. The abstract deadline has just been extended to March 1, so there is still plenty of time to register your interest to attend!

New ARC Implementing Arrangement with the European Research Council designed to provide opportunities for ARC funded ECRs

ARC has signed a new Implementing Arrangement with the European Research Council (ERC) to commence in late 2019, which is designed to provide opportunities for ARC-funded early career researchers from Australia to pursue research collaborations with European researchers supported through a relevant ERC grant.

NHMRC Synergy Grants 2019 - Call for Expressions of Interest (EOI)

Researchers intending to apply for NHMRC Synergy Grants 2019, please complete the EOI form by COB Friday 22 February 2019. 

2019 Perpetual Trustees Ramaciotti Biomedical Research Award - EOI APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN

Please note that this is separate scheme and EOI to the Health Investment Grants which was communicated earlier.

This $1 million grant is awarded every two years to a group or individual undertaking biomedical research within universities, public hospitals, medical research institutes or other similar organisations.
