Mindfulness for Wellbeing and Peak Performance (extended edition)
In light of recent events the practice of mindfulness and meditation is more important than ever. To ensure that we look after our mental health Monash staff can now have FREE access to the FutureLearn Mindfulness for Wellbeing and Peak Performance course for the whole year by upgrading your registration.
MMC Level 2 Security Office Relocation
The Monash Medical Centre (MMC) Level 2 Site Security Control Room is relocating. All customer-facing Security administration for MMC and MCH will be administered 24x7 from the Level 1 Security Office.
Accessing Research Professional off-campus
Most people at Monash use Research Professional (RP) whilst on campus, and can therefore access RP without needing to log on (indeed most have never logged on).
Update – Changes to NHMRC 2020 Funding Schemes
Further to the message to the health and medical research sector on 19 March, NHMRC has been working hard and consulting with Research Committee and a number of peak stakeholder groups to develop a way forward in these very uncertain and challenging times.

Deadline extended - Club Melbourne EOI

In light of the NHMRC's recently revised deadline for Ideas Grants, please find new key dates for the scheme outlined in the email from the MRO below. The MRO has advised that they are awaiting guidance from Cancer Australia on their revised submission date in light of NHMRC's extended deadline. This will be updated as soon as known. 2020 Synergy Grant Scheme – Cancelled - Please export NHMRC Synergy Grant data from Sapphire before 6 April 2020
In light of the unfortunate cancellation of the 2020 Synergy Grant scheme, please see below communications just in from the NHMRC encouraging grant applicants to export their application data from Sapphire before 6 April 2020. Beyond this date application data will no longer be accessible through the Sapphire system. For questions, please contact mhs@monash.edu.

Please note, the 2020 HISS AGM, which was scheduled on Friday 27th March, was cancelled until further notice and we are hoping to hold this later in the year. The HISS AGM is an opportunity for current Monash SCS and Hudson students to come together, welcome new students and introduce them to the life of a research student.
