What is happening?
A number of near-miss pedestrian incidents have been reported in the Northern Entry patient transport & loading zone parking area
New signage and safety barriers have been installed across the area to define pedestrian pathways
What do I need to do?
When walking in and around our parking areas and loading zones
- walk only on the pathways provided and designated for pedestrian use
- use marked pedestrian crossings where available
- put your mobile phone away until reaching the building entry or your vehicle
- be vigilant for your safety and the safety and wellbeing of others,
- do not put yourself at risk by walking on service or access roads when pedestrian footpaths are available.
