Important announcement - travel bookings

The University’s incumbent travel management company, CTM Corporate Travel Management, will cease taking bookings from Monash after 30 April 2023.

The new travel management company, FCM Travel, will not be fully implemented until Wednesday 10 May 2023. During this period of seven working days, the Travel Office requests that Monash travellers postpone booking any non-urgent travel.

If you must book urgent travel during this period, the following will apply:

  • For domestic travel between 1 - 10 May, please book online directly via the preferred airline websites: Qantas, Virgin Australia, Rex and Jetstar. See the University’s reimbursements policy and procedure, and the Monash Travel page for guidance on booking travel.
  • For international travel, if you must book or travel between 1 - 10 May, please email the Travel Office at traveloffice@monash.edu with your approved Nutrip ID and an explanation of your need for an emergency/urgent booking.

Nutrip Plans apply as normal for all travel. Existing bookings are unaffected.

Please email the Travel Office at traveloffice@monash.edu if you have any questions.

Department of Paediatrics video shoot

First day of filming for the ‘Then and Now’ video for the Department of Paediatrics took place in April. Here are Dr Kirsten Furley and Associate Professor Atul Malhotra talking with Professor Emeritus Arthur Clark, the first Head of Paediatrics at Monash. Professor Clark was very impressed with the advances in technology and the focus on family involvement in contemporary paediatric care.

The video will be out in June!
