2019 Networks of Excellence (NoE) Grant Scheme – Applications now open

The Office of the Senior Vice-Provost & Vice-Provost (Research) has today announced that the 2019 round of the International Networks of Excellence Grant Scheme (NoE) scheme is NOW OPEN.

The aim of the NoE scheme is to foster and accelerate researcher-initiated collaborations involving high quality research groups and clusters (rather than one-to-one) here at Monash, and abroad.

Online Animal Ethics Training for SCS Animal Users

We are pleased to announce that animal ethics training will now be offered online through  myDevelopment. Simply log in, search for “animal ethics” and complete the training at your convenience. This online training replaces the in-person sessions that we used to run each quarter.

2019 Tall Poppy Awards - Nominations Now Open

Nominations for 2019 Tall Poppy Awards are now open and close on 10 April. 

Selection criteria include outstanding research / academic achievement as well as excellence in communication and community engagement to promote an understanding of science.

Call for applications - 2019 Faculty Travel Grant - for eligible SCS Early Career Researchers

Under the Faculty Travel Grant Scheme 2019, the School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health (SCS) is offering 11 travel grants, each valued at $1000.  These grants are to support early to mid-career researchers (Levels A-C) for their international conference travel, and allocation is contingent upon abstract acceptance.  We now invite applications from eligible SCS staff.
