Cheryl-Ann Hawkins, Operations Manager, early phase drug trials for Oncology Research at Monash Health, gave the opening speech at the Asia-Pac Site Solutions Summit at the Melbourne Cricket Ground last week.
Cheryl-Ann leads a team of study coordinators and clinical trial assistants, providing access to world first drugs to patients with cancer at the MHTP Clinical Trials Centre.
The Summit focused on clinical research site performance and the growth and contributions that sites make in the clinical research enterprise.
"We are very proud of our Australian ambassador and team member Cherylann Hawkins who has both given the opening speech and led a session interviewing two of our patients to an audience of over 250 researchers representing both sites sponsors and CROs," said Ms Karen Gillett, Manager, Oncology Clinical Trials Unit.
