Please find below details of our
forthcoming Open Day event (Monday 13 August) for
prospective Hons, Masters and PhD students. Also attached is a ppt
and flyer you can use to promote our event to students in lectures or via
relevant student notice boards. One of the most effective means of
communicating this event is via your contact with students.
This year we are directing all students to the Faculty’s
Supervisor Connect database to promote research projects (https://www.monash.edu/ medicine/research/ supervisorconnect).
We are not producing a hard copy booklet.
Please make sure your projects are up to date in the database.
Our Open Day Event:
Monday 13 August, 5.00-7.00pm, Dining Hall, Campus Centre
(upstairs), Clayton campus, Monash University

presentations to explain overview of SCS, Hudson, MHTP.
6.00pm
Supervisors speak directly with students
7.00pm Pack up
The SCS and Hudson communication teams will provide banners and
signage, and we have also arranged catering (pizza).
Please bring along any handouts or material (about your lab and
projects) to distribute on the night. It’s always helpful if
current students also attend and can speak to prospective students. We
are not running an event at MHTP this year. We encourage you to follow up
directly with the students you meet on the night, and arrange your own lab
tours, etc.
