Congratulations to Dr Andy Lim on receiving the Monash Health Emerging Researcher Fellowship.
Dr Andy Lim has been successful in receiving the $14,285 grant to conduct Phase I of the MS-Home Investigation. The project ‘The MS-Home Pathway – Safety of a Minor Stroke Imaging-Guided Outpatient Model of Care' aims to provide proof of concept for a novel risk stratification pathway for minor stroke patients.
This process innovation has the potential to scale state-wide via the Victorian Telemedicine Stroke network.
"I am pleased to see success in this round of capital raising. I hope that this will translate into significant return on investment in the form of minimising Victorian disability and death from this underestimated disease process", said Dr Lim.
