SCS Award for Excellence in Research Impact

A/Prof Julie
Brimblecombe
Associate Professor Julie Brimblecombe has forged a career dedicated to improving the food supply in remote Indigenous communities. Her research impact has not only been seen directly in the changes she has led to the food supply in partnership with ALPA, but also in the support strategies she has leveraged and lead to support other key stakeholders in the remote retail settings to ensure that the impact is sustained and enhanced. A/Prof Brimblecombe's evidence statement is testament to the cumulative impact and her sustained investment in this field, while at the same time supporting other young researchers to develop skills in this area, such that they too make an impact. Since arriving at Monash she has made significant impacts with her success with the CRE partnership with Deakin University and a Trip Fellowship.
