MRFF Covid-19 Mental Health Grant - NOW OPEN

MRFF have announced a new $3million Covid-19 Mental Health opportunity.  The objective of this opportunity is to support research to understand how the mental health system can be enhanced to be most effective and responsive during and following the acute COVID- 19 crisis. This may include consolidating data systems, helping to design and deliver new treatments, new services, and new policies both during and beyond the crisis.

The anticipated outcome of the research is to positively impact the lives of a significant number of Australians, especially those with pre-existing mental health issues and those with mental health issues arising from the COVID-19 crisis. The outcome of the research is also expected to have application beyond COVID-19 and extend to other natural disasters and widespread times of hardship.

Research Development Team Support:
Support from the MRO's Research Development Team will consist of a review of the 3 Page Project Impact section.  Support will be provided between 22 - 28 June 2020.  To qualify for a review, researchers will need to upload their Project Impact section to the Research Development Team's Google Form within these dates.

Please note, there is a Minimum Data requirement for this opportunity.  Any applications not initiated in Sapphire by 17:00 AEST 1 July 2020, and which do not meet minimum data requirements by this date will not be able to proceed.  Minimum Data for this scheme includes:
