Researchers from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics are undertaking a study that is looking at how and why diets of Chinese immigrants change when they move to Australia and what effect these changes have on risk factors for diabetes and heart disease.

If you are of Chinese descent and have immigrated to Australia within the past 10 years, we are inviting you participate in this study.

By participating in this study, you will be asked to visit our research lab on three occasions over a period of 24 months to complete dietary and demographic surveys as well as to have anthropometric measures and a small blood sample taken. Due to the COVID-19 situation we are currently only collecting online survey data, but will resume lab visits when safe to do so.

Are interested in participating in this study? If you are interested in participating you can take our screening survey (use the QR code or URL in the postcard)

If you would like more information about the study you can contact Sarah Lee at sarah.lee2@monash.edu.
