An SCS Women in Science, Discovery and Medicine  (WISDOM) Workshop

Tuesday 11 September, 3-5pm, TRF seminar room 3, TRF

This 2 hour workshop will explore sexual harassment and other forms of gendered violence that commonly occur in workplaces across Australia. It will work to equip staff with the skills to respond to incidents safely and effectively, while also promoting simple ways every member of workplace can seek to build a culture of gender equality. At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will be able to: 

• Define and identify sexual harassment and other forms of gendered violence 

• Understand the drivers of sexual harassment and other forms of gendered violence 

• Apply intervention strategies and responses to such behaviours 

• Identify key support services and reporting options 

• Contribute to a culture of gender equality in the workplace
