Barbora de Courten receives ADS Ranji and Amara Wikramanayake Clinical Diabetes Award

Associate Professor Barbora de Courten has been recognised with the prestigious ADS Ranji and Amara Wikramanayake Clinical Diabetes Award for 2018.


Awarded by the Australian Diabetes Society (ADS), the mid-career award recognises the significant contributions to diabetes research by a clinician.  The $40,000 award also supports further advancement of those achievements.

As the successful candidate, Associate Professor de Courten delivered the Ranji and Amara Wikramanayake Diabetes Award Lecture at the ADS/ADEA Australasian Diabetes Congress in Adelaide last week.
