On Tuesday 4 August 2020, NHMRC CEO Professor Anne Kelso advised the research sector via a Communique that NHMRC has adjusted scheme dates for the 2021 grant program, in consultation with Research Committee, in response to COVID 19 and that exact dates would be finalised later in the year.
Following further consultation with Research Administration Offices and the Australian Research Council, NHMRC are now able to confirm the following dates for the 2021 Grant Program.
Researchers are strongly encouraged to start planning their applications early. This includes new users registering for a SAPPHIRE account well in advance of the opening dates to update their profile and become familiar with the system.
