Investigating the role of attachment in the treatment of
behaviour and emotional problems in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
Synopsis
Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) are shown to
have higher levels of behaviour and emotional problems and more attachment
difficulties than children with other developmental disabilities. This
seminar will present findings on the role of children's attachment quality in
the development and treatment of behaviour and emotional problems in children
with ASD.
