A pilot program to trial the use of the electronic lab
notebook (ELN), LabArchives, has been undertaken in the Faculty of Medicine,
Nursing and Health Sciences (FMNHS) in 2015.The Faculty is now seeking to appoint a full-time casual HEW 6 ELN Coordinator for a period of 12 months in the first instance. The role of the ELN Coordinator is to lead and facilitate the adoption of LabArchives during the wider roll-out within the FMNHS during 2016. The Faculty expects that all new PhD students and their research supervisors adopt the use of LabArchives as a recording system of meeting notes, research data and other relevant material.
