Monash University is proud to
host Dr Michelle Garnett to deliver two workshops on Asperger's Syndrome and
Autism Spectrum Disorders for academic and professional staff.
Autism effects 1 in every 100 people. All staff who are
involved directly with students are especially encouraged to attend.

This workshop is designed for Professional staff primarily who have contact with students. The workshop will include an overview of Asperger's Syndrome and Autism Spectrum disorders and include topics such as:
- effects on daily life
- communication
- accommodation, living independently
- challenging behaviour
- social skills
- changes in expectations
- transitioning to university
