Head, Department of Surgery at the School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health Professor Julian Smith was recently recognised for his contribution to surgical education when inducted as a member of the new American College of Surgeons (ACS) Academy of Master Surgeon Educators™.
Final year Monash University medical student James Fahey has shed light on the possible cause of an uncommon but dangerous cardiovascular disease, spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD).
Dr Jun Yang, a Hudson Institute and SCS early-career researcher and Monash Health consultant endocrinologist, was awarded a Best Oral Presentation Prize at the 27th Scientific Meeting of the International Society of Hypertension (ISH) in Beijing, China.
