ATTENTION ALL ACADEMIC STAFF (AUSTRALIA ONLY) - ACADEMIC PROMOTION INFORMATION SESSION

Information sessions for fixed-term and continuing academic staff who are interested in applying for academic promotion have been scheduled for September.

  • 21 September, 2:00 - 3:30 PM: Basic Research session
  • 24 September, 1:00-2:30 PM: Clinical Research session

It is strongly encouraged that you attend a faculty information session if you are considering applying for promotion. Congratulations to Professor Peter Ebeling AO - newly appointed President-Elect of ASBMR


Congratulations to Professor Peter Ebeling AO, Head of the Department of Medicine in the School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health, as he was recently announced President-Elect of the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research (ASBMR).

This is a massive milestone as Professor Peter Ebeling is the first President to be elected outside of North America.

New Opportunity: MRFF Clinical Trials Activity Initiative - COVID-19

MRFF - Clinical Trials Activity Initiative - 2020 Rare Cancers, Rare Diseases and Unmet Need COVID-19 Grant

The objective of this Grant Opportunity is to utilise clinical trials to investigate effective mechanisms for the prevention or treatment of COVID-19 or its symptoms. Applications must propose a clinical trial that addresses a gap in current research and/or knowledge in with a specific focus on COVID-19.The intended outcome of this research is to deliver high quality evidence of strategies for the prevention or treatment of COVID-19 or its symptoms that can be translated into policy or practice.
