Teaching Sustainability in Health Professions Education Survey - Green Champions

A team of researchers from within the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences (FMNHS) are conducting research into teaching environmental sustainability in health professions education. This project aims to explore factors (individual, interpersonal, organisational and system-level), that influence capacity to teach environmental sustainability and climate change in your courses.

Specifically this research project will involve:

  • A survey to explore knowledge, attitudes and experiences of FMNHS teaching academic staff around capacity to teach environmental sustainability. THIS survey was sent to all Chief Examiners and Unit Coordinators today by Michelle Gschiel.

We are seeking your help to disseminate the information among your teaching academic staff in your School or Department. You can help us distribute this through some of the following channels:

  • Workplace Post
  • Bulk email to staff in your School or Department
  • Flyer posted in your tea-room, notice boards and teaching spaces
  • Raised as an action point in your green champion meetings
  • Added to your staff meetings, regular emails or newsletters

Our team have also supplied a link to a recent article in Monash Lens that contains more information about the research project and research team which you can view by clicking here.

Researchers involved in this project include:
