NHMRC Development Grants - Now Open in Sapphire

NHMRC have opened their Development Grant 2020 funding round for funding commencing 2021. This scheme is also being used as a pilot for NHMRC's new grant management system - Sapphire. As such, there are specific new processes to follow if you intend to apply for a Development Grant in this round.

Dr Arvind Sehgal receives Emerge Health award

The Department of Paediatrics, Dr Arvind Sehgal, has been awarded the 2019 Emerge Health Australian and New Zealand Neonatal Network Award for Cardiorespiratory Research.

SCS researchers receive Heart Foundation fellowships and grants

The Heart Foundation has announced the recipients of their 2019 research grants, which go towards supporting researchers investigating the causes, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of heart disease and related disorders.

Applications are now open for the SCS Early-Career Clinical Practitioner Fellowship scheme. The successful candidate will be appointed up to 0.5 FTE, Academic Level B.
