NOW OPEN - ARC LE21 EOI Portal

Each year the Victorian Universities run a combined Expression of Interest (EOI) process for the ARC LIEF scheme to strengthen the competitiveness of submissions and eliminate duplication of applications for similar infrastructure/equipment.

Accordingly, the DVCRs request that EOIs are submitted for any potential LE21 bids where either

a VIC-based university is leading, or
a VIC-based CI is participating on a bid led by an interstate university.

Applicants must submit EOIs ahead of 5:00pm, 29 January 2020.

Please note that internal funding from Monash must be secured before an EOI can be lodged. Applicants should complete the Monash Contributions Form. Further instructions are available on the MRO LIEF intranet page.

Key Dates

20 November 2019	Grant Guidelines released (Grant Connect ID G02162)
9am, 4 December 2019	LIEF EoI system opens https://ricunimelb.smartygrants.com.au/EOILIEF2021
29 January 2020	Proposals open in RMS.
5pm, 29 January 2020	EOIs for ARC LIEF 2021 Round close.
29 January – 10 February 2020	Each participating University’s Research Office will collate and review EOIs led by their institution, contacting lead CI’s for clarification where necessary.
11 February 2020	Meeting of all Victorian-based university DVCRs (or equivalent) to review EOIs.
18 March 2020	Request Not to Assess due to ARC.
1 April 2020	ARC Close for full proposals.
