Yesterday the NHMRC released the Guidelines for Investigator Grants and
the associated MRFF Priority Round. An important change is a definition of clinician researcher has now been provided.
You can find this on page 16, under section 4.1.1. *'For the purposes of this grant opportunity, a clinician researcher is a health professional (including allied health professionals) who works directly with patients to do research on health and disease and to develop new treatments.'*
Previously, the wording 'clinical researcher' was user however this has now been changes and a clear definition provided. In order to meet the eligibility criteria you must be a clinician researcher.
