This event will feature an interactive panel discussion and Q&A session with six MNHS Early Career Researchers who will share their valuable experiences and insights about their postdoc journeys with current PhD students.

As a PhD student, you will have a unique opportunity to ask panel members specific questions about their postdoc experiences, to assist with planning and preparing for your own.
Topics for discussion will include:
- The process for obtaining a fellowship
- Securing a publication in a high impact journal
- Completing a postdoc overseas
- Transitioning from PhD to postdoc and the first year as a postdoc
Please see the flyer with short profiles and areas of expertise for each of our panel members which provide an indication of their backgrounds. We recommend that you come prepared with a few questions per panel member to make the most of the experience.
There will also be an opportunity for networking over afternoon tea with our panel members and other PhD students after the session.
