Congratulations to Professor Peter Ebeling AO who was presented the prestigious Boy Frame Award at the recent American Society for Bone and Mineral Research (ASBMR) annual meeting held in Orlando.

The Boy Frame Award is bestowed for excellence in clinical research,  and the ASBMR Executive Committee made a unanimous decision to nominate Professor Ebeling for the award for his outstanding work in musculoskeletal health and disease.

As the Boy Frame awardee, Professor Ebeling presented a 20-minute historical vignette based on his outstanding research career titled "Causes and treatment of bone fragility in secondary osteoporosis: an unexpected, but rewarding journey." This was followed by oral presentations of interesting cases, and the presentation of the Boy Frame Award at the close of the working group session.
