Casual Technical Assistant Position

An opportunity has arisen for a casual (1-2 days) Technical Assistant within the Department of Surgery in the School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health. This position will support the research activities of the Melbourne Shoulder and Elbow Centre based in Brighton.




Responsibilities of the role include:
- Maintenance of study files and basic data-entry
- Coordinating communication between sites
- Assistance with preparing quarterly reports on current studies
- Maintaining current study protocols and developing new ones as required
- Obtaining ethics and governance approval
- Fulfilling regulatory and reporting obligations

You will be part of a small friendly team, with small cohort number studies concentrating on upper limb clinical orthopaedic research. Some exposure to the medical environment is desirable, but not essential. Working days and hours are also flexible.
