Jeffrey Drazen MD is a physician scientist whose work helps define role of novel endogenous chemical agents in asthma, resulting in four new licensed pharmaceuticals for asthma; identified genetic component of variability of asthma treatment response. He has been Editor-in-Chief, New England Journal of Medicine since 2000.
