This year, we will developing a number of important OHS procedures to better align with the University's OHS management system. These will be drafted in consultation with the SCS OHS committee.
It is the responsibility of Supervisors and Managers to ensure their staff and students follow these and other University OHS procedures.
Please monitor eNews and the SCS intranet policies page for updated OHS procedures.
As part of our upcoming OGTR inspection of PC2 facilities, a Biological Spill Procedure has been developed. Please ensure this is available to all personnel in laboratories.
There is a Laboratory OHS Noticeboard on E Block Level 5 where these procedures are displayed. Please check if there is a space in the other areas where we can replicate this and Clare Westhorpe will assist with setting it up.
