Correct disposal of electronic equipment (eWaste)

From 1 July this year the Victorian Government banned all e-Waste from entering landfill. e-Waste can be described as anything with a plug or battery, in working condition or faulty.
It includes everything from old mobile phones, computers and related equipment, audio devices, refrigerators, toasters and kettles.

At Monash University, we can arrange to have your e-Waste picked up from your work location and disposed correctly, however there are two different processes based on equipment type. Make sure you are familiar with how to dispose e-Waste correctly here
