Celine Latouche joins MNHS as BDM

Welcome to Celine Latouche who has joined the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing & Health Sciences as Business Development Manager (BDM) and will be based at SCS approximately four days a week.

Celine joins Monash from the Baker Institute where she has spent the past five years as Commercialisation Manager, overseeing commercial projects, intellectual property, contracts, deals, and industry engagement.

Celine holds a PhD in Physiology from the University of Pierre and Marie Curie (Paris, France), an MBA from Monash University, and is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).

As Business Development Manager, Celine will support SCS researchers with their research activities. This will include identification and protection of intellectual property, industry engagement and contract negotiations, identification of funding opportunities, and the development of proposals and marketing materials. She will also be available to provide support with commercially-focused funding schemes such as NHMRC development grants, NFMRI, Biocurate, and Biomedical Translation Bridge (BTB) - for therapeutics, medical technologies and digital health.
