The Joint Medicine-Pharmacy IDR Seed Funding Grants scheme, offered by the Faculty of Medicine Nursing and Health Sciences (FMNHS) and the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (FPPS) aims to promote new research collaborations and external engagement between the two Faculties.
The scheme supports high quality proposals that:
- strengthen the capability and international competitiveness of its researchers;
- develop good partner relationships and team building within and outside the University; and
- identify and develop young research leaders.
Under the JMP 2020 scheme, there is $200,000 available for high quality applications that will enable researchers to obtain sufficient results for a national/international competitive grant application or a significant industry partner-funded project, ideally within a year of the award end date. The maximum amount awarded for a single application will be $50,000.
