2019 Johnson & Johnson WiSTEM Scholars Award Program - CALL FOR EOI APPLICATIONS

The Johnson & Johnson WiSTEM Scholars Award Program aims to fuel the development of female STEM2D leaders and feed the STEM2D talent pipeline by awarding and sponsoring women at critical points in their research careers, in each of the STEM2D disciplines:

  • Science
  • Technology
  • Engineering
  • Math
  • Manufacturing and Design

The awards will fund one woman per discipline who has completed her advanced degree, who is working as an assistant professor and who is not yet tenured at an accredited university or design institution. The Scholarship Award is a 3-year scholarship in the gross amount of $150,000.

Further information on this scheme can be found at the following link.

As per the guidelines for this scheme, a maximum of one application can be shortlisted per STEM2D discipline per Faculty, and we therefore require an internal Expression of Interest (EOI) process to determine which applications can proceed to submission.

Intending applicants are required to prepare an EOI application using the template and submit to the Faculty Research Office (medicine.research@monash.edu) no later than 5:00PM (AEST) on Monday 16 September 2019.

Following Faculty and cross-Faculty review and ranking processes, the shortlisted Monash applicants will be advised to proceed with their full application submission and entry of their application into PURE on or soon after 26 September 2019.  Final applications are due to the funder by 3 October 2019.
