Here are the upcoming OHS training dates at MMC. Please refer to the OHS training guide for Monash University requirements, and your myDevelopment training record to determine which modules you need to complete. For more information, please see the SCS intranet.

E block level 5, Surgery Seminar Room

• Essential OHS - for managers/supervisors and safety officers 9:00am-12:15pm.  Register here.
• Hazardous Substances and Dangerous Goods - for staff and students who handle chemicals 1:00pm-3:00pm. Register here.

Wednesday, 9th October
Level 3 board rooms, Hudson building (27-31 Wright St)

• Student Project Safety - for PhD students 10:00am-12:00pm. Register via myDevelopment.
• Biosafety Module 1 - for staff and students who handle animals or biologicals 1:00pm-3:00pm. Register via myDevelopment.

Thursday, 24th October
E block level 4 Seminar Room

• Risk Management / Risk Management Specialised - for managers/supervisors and safety officers 9:00am-12:15pm. Register here.
• Hazard and incident investigation - for managers/supervisors and safety officers 1:00pm-2:00pm.  Register here
• Workplace inspection - for managers/supervisors and safety officers 2:30pm-3:30pm. Register here.

Please note: 

• Biosafety module 1 (Microbiologicals) has an RPL (recognition of prior learning) quiz available in myDevelopment for staff who have previously completed the face-to-face training.

• Biosafety module 2 (OGTR and importation compliance) is now available online in myDevelopment.
