Congratulations go to Annie Cox from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology who took out first place in the senior category for her thesis 'Diving into Preeclampsia'. Second place went to Mary Mansilla from Hudson/MTS for 'What makes a super pregnancy?', while third place went to Ai-Ming Wong from the Department of Medicine for 'Replacing lottery with certainty in sleep apnoea surgery'.
In the junior category we had equal first place winners; Liza Barbour from Nutrition, Dietetics and Food for 'Protecting our planet and our population: the local government policy response to support an environmentally sustainable diet'; and Madeleine Smith from Obstetrics and Gynaecology for 'It's for the brain not the heart to decide'.
The People's Choice Award went to Ben Amberg from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology for 'Running a marathon without lungs?'
Congratulations to all our winners and participants, and best of luck to Annie Cox and Mary Mansilla who will go on to represent the School at the Faculty final.
