Professor Cadilhac in the running for top stroke award

Congratulations to Professor Dominique Cadilhac who has been named as a finalist for the prestigious Stroke Foundation President’s Achievement award.

Professor Cadilhac first began working with the Stroke Foundation in 1998, and over the last 20 years has actively contributed to their programs to ensure progress in public health efforts. Much of Dominique's career has been dedicated to achieving better treatment and outcomes for stroke survivors.

Stroke Foundation Chief Executive Officer Sharon McGowan congratulated Professor Cadilhac on being named as a finalist.

“Professor Cadilhac’s dedication to stroke research helps us continue our life-saving work across Australia, raising awareness about the treatment and prevention of stroke,” Ms McGowan said.

The Awards celebrate stroke survivors, carers, volunteers, health professionals and researchers who work tirelessly to improve the lives of those affected by stroke. The winners will be announced at a ceremony in Melbourne this month and we wish Professor Cadilhac the very best of luck.
