Associate Professor Barbora de Courten has been recognised with the prestigious ADS Ranji and Amara Wikramanayake Clinical Diabetes Award for 2018.

MHTP Research Symposium 2018 - poster competition abstract submissions OPEN NOW

A highlight of the MHTP Research Symposium is the poster competition.  This year the poster showcase will take place on Wednesday 7 November at various locations throughout the precinct. The highest ranked poster from each research category will be awarded a $500 cash prize.

Applications are now open, and will close on 10 September.   More information HERE about how to submit your abstract as well as our draft program.

JDRF Travel Grants Open for Applications


JDRF provides grants of up to $2,000 for domestic travel, and up to $4,000 for international travel to early stage scientists, mid-career researchers and allied health/nursing professionals. The awards are designed to provide funding for travel to research institutions or scientific meetings, for the purpose of furthering the recipient’s expertise in type 1 diabetes research or management.

Postgraduate Publication Awards Round 4/2018 - Applications close Monday 1st October 2018


Applications for PPA Round 4/2018 are now open and will close on Monday 1st October 2018.

The quarterly round applies to candidates who will be submitting their thesis between 1 October - 31 December 2018.

FOCUS series for MNHS GR students: Information research and communication skills

Focus Series is a set of workshops especially designed for graduate research students in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences. Its aim is to assist with the development of advanced information research and communication skills.

Increase in parking fees at Monash Health

Monash Health has advised that car parking rates will increase from 27 August 2018.

Accordingly, the charges for car parking will increase from the current $0.63/hour to $0.65/hour from the next pay period.   This applies to University staff paying for Monash Health car parking through payroll deductions.
