MRFF- Million Minds - Suicide Prevention

Up to $8M is available over 4 years to support research into interventions that aim to reduce the rate of suicide in Australia, and will contribute to the evidence base around what works to reduce suicide in Australia.

Competitive applications will primarily involve interventions that will reduce the number of suicides in Australia and achieve the following intended outcomes:

• new or improved interventions to prevent suicide
• clear implementation pathways for prevention and early-intervention strategies
• increased translation of patient-focused research into health policy and/or practice
• increased research capacity and capability
• established collaborative partnerships between researchers, consumers, policy providers and the delivery sector.

Close date is Wednesday, 5 February 2020. Note there are multiple MRFF grants with this deadline so please advise Gabrielle Callander or Karen McConalogue ASAP of your intent to apply so they can advise and assist you.
