The event aims to:
- Showcase existing cardiovascular health research within Monash University across Schools and Faculties
- Inform on new developments regarding the Victorian Heart Hospital
- Establish a Monash-wide virtual network of cardiovascular health researchers and clinicians.
Date: November 6th & November 7th
Location: Learning and Teaching Building, Monash Clayton Campus
The program will include invited external speakers, one day of talks and poster presentations, and one day of workshops, focussing on five particular challenges of Cardiovascular Health:
- Personalised Medicine
- Living Well - including prevention, metabolic disease and rehabilitation
- Womens Heart
- Vulnerable Populations - including Aboriginal Health
- New Technologies - novel and innovative approaches for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment
