Expressions of Interest are closing for the 2019 BHERT Awards

Expressions of Interest (EoIs) for the 2019 BHERT Awards are closing on Tuesday 16 April 2019.

These prestigious awards recognise outstanding achievement in relation to collaboration by the university sector under the following award categories:

·      Outstanding Collaboration in Research and Development;

·      Outstanding Collaboration in Higher Education and Training;

·      Outstanding Collaboration in Community Engagement; and

·      Outstanding Collaboration for National (non-economic) Benefit.

The BHERT Awards are an opportunity for Monash to be true to its mandate of being an enterprising and impactful university, and we encourage as many applications as possible to recognise the outstanding projects that align with the award categories.

BHERT has recently simplified its process, meaning that individuals will be able to submit EoIs via a one page web form on the BHERT website, and need only include a brief summary of:

·      Each project or program, including its start date and duration;

·      the collaborative roles of Monash and its major partners; and

·      the major economic, financial, social, educational, environmental or community benefits that have been achieved.

BHERT will select the top applicants in each award category, who will be invited to complete full applications between 13 May and 9 July 2019.  These applications will be judged by an expert panel, and winners will be announced at the BHERT awards dinner in September or October.

Enterprise will, of course, provide support and coaching in relation to any full applications that Monash University is invited to submit following the EoI process, and there will also be direct support from BHERT in this regard.

For any queries relating to the EoI submission process, please contact Anita Zanchetta, Director, Strategy Implementation and Insights at anita.zanchetta@monash.edu
