Research Development Support for NHMRC Research and Practitioner Fellowships - CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

Please be aware that the Monash Research Office (MRO) Research Development team is again providing additional support for NHMRC Research and Practitioner Fellowship applicants.
There will be a separate announcement of our support for ECF, CDF and TRIP applicants. For intending applicants to those schemes, please view the guidance on the MRO intranet in the meantime.

Support for Research and Practitioner Fellowship applicants consists of:

1. Scheme offline forms with strategy tips, as attached and available on the RF and PF page on the intranet.  (Using an offline form is not compulsory, but has the advantages of enabling tracked changes from reviewers throughout your summary sections and research proposal, as well as being useful prior to the scheme opening date)

2. In-depth strategic reviews for applications by MRO Research Development staff, with a priority strategic review period from
16 Dec 2015 - 20 Jan 2016. [Please note MRO will be closed from 23 Dec 2015 - 3 Jan 2016].

3. Coordinated peer review for applicants who request it and submit their draft to mro.researchdevelopment@monash.edu by COB 4 Jan 2016.

For further details about what is required to receive a review, please follow the instructions on our RF and PF intranet page
Research and Practitioner Fellowships open in RGMS on Wed 9 Dec 2015.  Professor Matthew Gillespie, Associate Dean (Research Strategy) will be coordinating a workshop soon after.  Further details to follow.

To enable MRO to target communications, please encourage your researchers to express their intention to submit RF and PF applications to the Faculty Research Office (medicine.research@monash.edu) at the earliest opportunity.
