John Desmond Prize success

This week we congratulate two outstanding Year 3 MBBS students from our School for their notable achievements in the recent John Desmond exam.

Benjamin Chosich and Alton Hong placed equal first and equal third in the highly competitive exam earlier this month.

The prestigious John Desmond prize is the Faculty award for occupational medicine. A total of 327 students sat the exam this year across the entire Year 3 MBBS cohort, including all metropolitan sites, Victorian rural and Malaysian campuses.

Benjamin receives a half share of the $1000 prize money for his equal first place and Alton receives $200 for his equal third place in the exam.
