Queer 101 now online!

Queer 101 training is now online on Moodle and is for both staff and students.

For staff who cannot attend the Ally Network Training in-person, this is the next best thing.


If you’d like to learn more about sex, gender and sexuality, then Queer 101 is for you. This course will empower you to make positive changes for the LGBTIQ people in your communities. You’ll learn about:

• the LGBTIQ acronym
• the differences between sex, gender and sexuality
• how gender identity and expression function in society
• some of the key issues faced by the LGBTIQ community, including gender binaries and heteronormative culture.
