Key changes to FL application
Please note the following key changes to the FL application in RMS, relative to last year:
- Project limits: Chief Investigators (CIs) on ARC Centres of Excellence and Special Research Initiatives will no longer count towards Discovery Program project limits.
- Assessment criteria weighting: Assessment criteria includes new Benefit criterion of 10%. Relatively, Project Quality and Innovation (PQ&I) and Mentoring/capacity building criteria scores are reduced from 30% (previously) to 25% each.
- D1 - Project description section (previously C1) has been re-ordered
- Project costs are increased by $10,000
- E2 - Justification of non-salary funding requested from the ARC has a new page limit of 5 pages
- G1 - This section from previous years has been removed, and the information from the former G1 table is included at F6 and F7 (ROPE Section)
- G2 - revious section 'Statements on Progress' for ARC-funded projects has been removed
Key Dates
- RNTA due to MRO (due to ARC) - November 13 (Nov 20)
- ADR Approved Strategic Statements Due to MRO - October 30
- Initial Deadline for Complete MRO Review - November 20
- ARC Deadline - December 4
- Anticipated Rejoinder Period - 12 February- 25 February 2020
