Sapphire system performance
Some users have recently reported slow loading times for Sapphire, especially when loading an application. NHMRC has since boosted system performance and increased monitoring to quickly identify any future changes in performance. Users are encouraged to advise NHMRC’s Research Help Centre if they experience any ongoing delays in page load times or access to Sapphire.
Ideas Grants application form – Cancer Australia question
For Ideas Grant applicants, the response to the question, Is this application for a Cancer Australia Priority driven Collaborative Cancer Research Scheme Early Career Researcher Grant?, is now appearing correctly in the Application Report.
Chief Investigator invitation process
Some applicants have experienced problems with Chief Investigators not being able to accept invitations to join their application. We are working on a solution to this issue and will provide further advice as it becomes available.
Associate Investigator invitations
We have also resolved the issue regarding Associate Investigators not being able to view and accept/decline an application invitation. Application owners are required to generate a new invitation if the “invitation response” is showing as “sent”. If required, click the ‘Resend Invite” button next to the Associate Investigator’s email address.
New user account registrations
If you intend to participate on an Ideas Grant application, and do not have a Sapphire Account, you must have your Sapphire access request submitted to the Research Help Centre no later than 5pm AEST Wednesday 27th May.
