European Research Days 2020 is the annual flagship event of EURAXESS Australia and New Zealand, in collaboration with the Delegation of the European Union to Australia and the Delegation of the European Union to New Zealand. This virtual event focuses on providing the research community with information and support for scientific exchange and collaboration with Europe.
Topics include, but are not limited to: European funding (Horizon Europe, DAAD, European Research Council grants, Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions, Erasmus+); the impact of Covid-19 on research and mobility; EU-Australia relations (speakers/panelists include European ambassadors to Australia and New Zealand); and the importance of international collaboration (speakers include Prof. Anne Kelso (CEO, NHMRC), Dr Mary Kelly (Executive Director, Biological Sciences and Biotechnology, ARC), Prof. John Shine (President, AAS) and Prof. Jean-Pierre Bourguignon (Interim President, European Research Council).
