2020 SCS 3MT (virtual) competition

School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health (SCS) postgraduate students compete annually in the "Three Minute Thesis Competition (3MT)" offered in Australian universities.  The students describe their research and its significance in a manner that is comprehensible to a non-specialist audience in just 3 minutes, with a single slide to illustrate key concepts. 
The School Finalists have been selected by individual Departments & Centres, and next week they will compete for a place in the Faculty's Final.  The Monash 3MT finalist will represent Monash at the trans-national final in Queensland.

This year the SCS 3MT Final will look a bit different – it will be held virtually, with all participants presenting their entry as a video clip available for viewing starting from Wednesday 10 June 2020. A panel of judges will select the winners in the junior and senior categories by 5pm Friday 12 June 2020. The top two candidates in the senior category will progress to compete in the Faculty 3MT Virtual Finals held on 12 noon Friday 3 July to 11am Friday 10 July.  More details here: SCS 3MT Website

Everyone can vote for their favourite 3MT presentation to win the People's Choice Award. ALL contestants (junior and senior) are eligible to win this award. The voting link will be provided on the SCS 3MT website when voting opens on Wednesday 10 June and close on 5pm Friday 12 June 2020.
