The Telematics Trust supports organisations and individuals with one-off ‘Small Grants’ of up to $50,000 to invest in an innovative project or initiative in line with its mission.
The Trust aims to create a more level playing field by providing support to projects that educate and empower people from diverse backgrounds to learn new things and build their capacity to contribute to society. In particular, the Trust targets and funds innovative projects which:
- would be assisted by seeding grants
- are not likely to be supported by other funding bodies
Individuals, educational institutes, government organisations, businesses and non-profit organisations may apply. The Telematics Trust can only accept applications from organisations or individuals that have an Australian Business Number (ABN).
All projects must:
- be based in Victoria and be for the benefit of Victorians;
- be education and/or training driven and market-oriented; and
- have a significant commitment of support from the applicant organisation, which may include in-kind or monetary contributions.
As in previous years, the Trust will consider only ONE application PER department from each Faculty within a University. As such, FMNHS will administer a review and ranking process to determine which EOI applications to support.
Applicants must complete the Grant Application worksheet and submit to the Faculty Research Office (medicine.research@monash.edu) by 5pm on Wednesday 18 March 2020. Shortlisted applicants will be notified and provided with instructions for the full submission process by 27 March 2020.
If you have any questions about the scheme, please contact medicine.research@monash.edu.
